BECOME A MEMBER OF THE PTA
Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the R.H. Dana Parent Teacher Association (PTA)! By joining, you advocate for your children, support our school and provide funds for school activities. Our PTA focuses on supporting our teachers and staff, as well as working with the district PTA on district and state wide advocacy. We work together to create a fun and engaging place for our students to learn and grow.
Did you know that the PTA was not designed to be a fundraising organization (although the money we do raise goes directly back into our students and our school!)? PTA was actually created for families, educators and community members to be a voice for all students and public education. This is why your membership matters! Whether securing adequate funding for public education or advocating for student health and safety, the larger our membership base, the more powerful a platform we give our district to be able to speak on behalf of our students and directly influence legislation and policies in Sacramento.
