This year we will be holding our second annual Giving Tree Fundraiser. The idea sprung from the book, The Giving Tree. Funds from this special community building event will go towards purchasing BOOKS for our library as well as to support on-campus fun. Each year we have been building our bilingual library grade by grade. Since we are a newer immersion program, we still have a ways to go! Please join as we bring our Giving Tree to life, each leaf representing the generosity of our wonderful R.H. Dana Families!
From November 2th-November 15th, there will be a three dimensional wooden tree displayed on our school campus. We will be filling our tree with donation “leaves” which will represent our families gifts to support this cause. No matter the amount, small or large, we hope that every family/person can find a way to donate to our library and community building events.
Should you wish to contribute to our Giving Tree, here’s how to participate:
Find the envelope and enclosed “leaf” with the flier you received from school.
Write all donors names on your leaf in a dark pen or marker. Please DO NOT write a donation amount on the leaf.
Place your leaf and donation(s) in the envelope provided and seal it. There is no minimum amount to participate in our Giving Tree. Either cash or checks made payable to R.H. Dana PTA will be accepted.
Return your envelope to your teacher by Nov. 15th.
If you or your family are in need of extra leaves please find them available in the front office.
Watch as our Giving Tree grows.
Pictures will be posted on our website (rhdanapta.org) and Instagram (@rhdanapta) account to show our tree’s progress. Wow! Thank you so much to all of our R.H. Dana families for your generous donations for our Giving Tree Fundraiser. Last year we raised $4,400. This year you donated $6,129!
