We are so excited to share our library renovation with you! We have been working hard over the last three years to update and improve our school library. In 2019 we raised funds through our Jogathon to begin purchasing kindergarten level bilingual books for our brand new Spanish Immersion Program. In 2020 our Giving Tree Fundraiser along with a generous anonymous donation helped us purchase our first grade level bilingual books. In 2021 we raised money through our Read-a-thon which helped us to purchase new shelving and furniture. We are so proud that our NEW library represents the generosity of our families and outside supporters.
Our bilingual book library has grown tremendously and we now have a wonderfully renovated room for our children to relax and dive into reading. We chose colors to represent the sea giving the room a light, calm and breezy feel!
Thank you so much to our library tech Megan Succi who has spent countless hours over the last year and a half cleaning, organizing and shelving EVERY single book! She has also done wonders making the space look beautiful and inviting!
